Lack of organization in the Ohio State athletic department
June 03, 2011
Ohio State has nearly 400 people in its athletic department and
yet only head football coach Jim Tressel resigned from his position due to improprieties.
Either this is the most disorganized athletic department in the
country or there are alot of people in the administration, compliance, academic affairs, student-life, business offices who
are walking around with their heads in the sand and don’t notice all the new cars being driven by members of the football
team.
Apparently, the hundreds of employees working in the Fawcett Center
and the Schottenstein Center don’t talk to, or with, each other.
p.s. As early as
8:00 a.m. EDT, on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, Jim Tressel’s name had been removed from the athletic department directory.
